Crescent City Shapers is the student organization affiliated with the Planning and Urban Studies (PLUS) Department at the University of New Orleans, the only accredited Urban Planning program in the state of Louisiana. CCS strives to be the voice of the students, to provide a meeting ground for networking and socializing and to foster personal and professional development among our members and partners.

Urban Planning is a very interdisciplinary field, and Urban Planners come from all walks of life. Because of this, CCS is committed to reaching out to people and organizations  that study and work in similar disciplines to build a network of peers in New Orleans. PLUS students, and students in similar disciplines, will be the next planning experts and leaders in New Orleans, and we believe that building relationships and networks now will benefit the city down the line.
